Manufacturing, importing, stocking, distributing and selling of identified single-use plastic items will be banned from 1st July 2022. 

Over 5 lakh people in 1,243 villages of 24 states of Uttar Pradesh are reeling under floods with all the major rivers like Saryu, Tons, Ganga, etc., in danger levels.

PM Modi launches National Automobile Scrappage Policy and Investors Summit; says it will create investment of Rs. 10,000 crore, while controlling pollution due to use of old vehicles.

Manufacturing, importing, stocking, distributing and selling of identified single-use plastic items will be banned from 1st July 2022. The thickness of plastic carry bags allowed is increased from 50 microns to 75 microns from 30 September 2021 and to 120 microns from 31 December 2021.
