Chhattisgarh government to provide Rs. 6000 per annum to landless labour as minimum wage support access basic amenities under the Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumihin Majdur Nyay Yojana. 

Over 1.23 million people applied for Lakshmi Bhandar scheme on the first day of the launch. Under it, the West Bengal government will provide Rs. 500 per annum to the female head of the family to provide basic income support.

Over 32% of India’s coastline underwent sea erosion and 27% expanded between 1990 and 2018. West Bengal, Pondicherry & Kerala face most erosion: National Centre for Coastal Research (NCCR).
