Tata Cornell Institute (TCI) launches a FPO Hub for farmer producer organisations (FPOs) with a $1 million grant from Walmart Foundation. It will have a database of the over 4400 Indian FPOs for greater analysis and research into their workings.

Microsoft and Ed4All has announced a collaboration with the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) to provide employable digital skills to students through the open schooling system. It aims to reach out to 170 million learners in India through a customised Technology platform called BLEAP for NIOS.

Maharashtra State Skill Competition finals begin tomorrow. Over 239 youth in 17-25 age group are competing in 45 skills in 15 sectors. The 100 state champions will get to participate in IndiaSkills national competition 2021, and further have a chance of competing in World Skills International Competition.

Department of Panchayati Raj issues advisory to Gram Panchayats across country. Focus on making them self-reliant by raising their own sources of revenue through asset monetization.

Uttar Pradesh has produced 26.44 MT of fish and 1191.27 crore fishery seeds in the last four years. It has distributed Kisan credit cards to 7883 fish farmers in the state.
