Maharashtra is observing a 24-hour bandh today. It is to protest against the killing of farmers in Lakshmipur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. Shops, markets, etc. will remain closed.
To limit edible oil prices, the Centre has levied stock limits on edible oils and oilseeds till 31st March 2022.
