India has crossed the milestone of 100 crore COVID-19 vaccination doses today. 

Commission for Air Quality Management has asked Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and UP to be more strict in the dust control mechanisms in Construction & Demolition sites in the States. State teams conducted 6596 surprise inspections and found 963 sites to be guilty of breaking Dust Mitigation Measures.

NABARD sanctioned Rs. 608 crore for infrastructure projects in rural Assam. The projects are rural roads, bridges, flood protection projects and soil conservation projects. These projects will help 17 lakh rural people in 900 villages.

Chattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel started ‘Shri Dhanwantri Generic Medical Store’, a generic medical store scheme. Under it, 84 medicine shops were started on Day 1 to give people access to cheaper medicines.

The impact of lockdown in India during the first phase of the pandemic was more severe in urban areas than in rural areas. Marginalized families in rural areas showed better resilience to withstand pandemic than marginalized families in urban areas: UNICEF study.

DeHaat signed an MOU with FDRVC (Foundation for Development of Rural Value Chains) to improve the Agricultural sector and provide solutions that give complete agri support to micro-entrepreneurs.
