Flipkart sets up a digital learning academy—The Supply Chain Operations Academy (SCOA) to provide skill training in supply chain operations.
After the Idukki dam in Kerala saw an increase in inflow from its catchment areas, the state government has issued a red alert. The reservoir is currently at 94.47% of full capacity and the water level is at 2398.30 feet.
In order to bridge the gap between education and employment skills, The Goa Government has signed an MoU with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). It has also signed a letter of intent with Association for Computing Machinery, India and Google CS Education.
The Supreme Court has decreed that while farmers have a right to protest, they cannot block roads, especially indefinitely. It stated that the common people have the right to access the road. The next hearing on this subject will be on December 7th.
To ensure better protection of women and girl children, Mohali Municipal Corporation will set up 100 CCTV cameras in markets at a cost of Rs. 4.5 crore. It will be implemented under the Nirbhaya scheme of the Central Government.
