During the closing session of the COP26 Summit, about 200 countries accepted a climate deal that hopes to cap global warming to 1.5° C. The Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister will launch a nationwide campaign today to expand the benefits of Kisan Credit Card to all eligible people in the animal husbandry and fisheries sector in India.

India would need 22 million skilled workers by 2025 as the country progresses into 5G-based technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, robotics, cloud computing, etc.: Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC).

PM Modi transferred the first installment of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) of Rs. 700 crore to 1.47 lakh beneficiaries in Tripura. The Centre has changed the definition of kuccha houses under PMAY to take into account Tripura’s unique geo-climatic conditions. This enabled the beneficiaries in Tripura to avail themselves of this scheme.
