Centre has allocated Rs. 10000 crore additional funds for MGNREGS as an interim measure. The funds are still not enough to cover the scheme expenditure even after including this allocation. Centre, however, stated that it is committed to releasing funds for proper implementation of the scheme.

They will discuss reducing water footprint and pollution, recycling and reuse strategies and making water resources sustainable and cities self-sufficient.
