84% of Indian households saw a decline in income during the pandemic. While at the same time, Indian billionaires increased from 102 to 142: ‘Inequality Kills’ report by Oxfam.

Union Government is mulling on the feasibility of a scheme to support subsidised food canteens as many states already have such schemes.

Tribal Affairs Department, Jammu and Kashmir, has allocated Rs. 40 crore for dairy farms and sheep farms in tribal villages, and Rs. 15 crore for mini sheep farms. This will create employment in the region.

Haryana CM stated that 2.73 crore people (67 lakh families) have so far provided their information via the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) in the state.

Skill Development Ministry and IGNOU signed an MOU to improve vocational and technical training framework. This will help make India’s youth more employable, and give them employment opportunities.
