Under Rajasthan’s Mukhyamantri Yuva Sambal Yojana, 42,439 unemployed youth got into internships and 7639 have received skill training. The scheme provides an unemployment allowance of Rs. 4000 (boys) and Rs. 4500 (girls, transgenders and PwDs,) to 1.98 lakh unemployed youth in the state.

The Maharashtra government has built 1,100 artificial farm ponds and check dams along the Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi Mahamarg in the last three years. The objective of this initiative is to help increase water-holding capacity of the drought-prone region.

Indian marine exports witnessed a growth of 35% to $6.1 billion during the April-December 2021 period compared to the corresponding period in 2020. December 2021 alone saw exports worth $720 million.

The Economic Survey 2021-2022 was tabled today in the Budget Session of the Parliament. It predicts that India’s GDP will grow in real terms by 8 – 8.5% in 2022-23.
