National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) signed a MOU with UNICEF (India) to take up joint projects for the welfare of women and children in rural areas.
The Agriculture Ministry is working on a natural farming scheme worth Rs. 2500 crore. It will send it to the Cabinet soon for approval.
Karnataka launches Women@Work (W@W) programme that will aim to provide 5 lakh jobs to women with required skills by 2026. The programme will aim to provide free certificate courses for women to get them technically trained.
Women and Child Development Ministry (MoWCD), Education Ministry (MoE) and UNICEF launched the Kanya Shiksha Pravesh Utsav. The campaign aims to bring 4 lakh out-of-school adolescent girls back to formal education or skilling.
