India reaches its personal highest rank of 40th in Global Innovation Index of World Intellectual Property Organisation. It jumped by 41 points in the past 7 years, due to the efforts of innovators.

Maharashtra Government declares additional financial aid to 6 lakh farmers facing crop loss due to rain, who are not covered under any schemes, of Rs. 755 crore.

NABARD accepts 113 project proposals in Himachal Pradesh covered under RIDF, costing a total Rs. 609.54 crore, to build drinking water supply, irrigation, rural roads, bridges and sewage works.

RBI raised benchmark rate by 50 basis points, repo rate from 5.4% to 5.9%, and accommodative stance stands withdrawn, due to inflation from Ukraine Russia conflict, COVID 19 and global central banks being aggressive.
