Akshara Livelihoods’ team conducted an end term evaluation (ETE) of GK Jeevan Project by CONARE Organisation and funded by United Way of Hyderabad. The Project aimed to uplift the lives of the Gutta Koya tribal community in Mulugu District, Telangana. This tribe is originally from Chhattisgarh, but has been internally displaced due to violence between police and maoists. CONARE is supporting 300 GK households in 10 hamlets of Mulugu District with education support for children from the hamlets, skill development and livelihood support on tailoring, plumbing, machinary, poultry, kitchen garden and honey collection and entitlement support by facilitating them to get Aadhar card, voter card and ration card.
