Krsna hand-in-hand 160825

Sri Aurobindo wrote a message for broadcast on the eve of 15 August 1947, the day India achieved independence – ‘The Fifteenth of August 1947’: August 15th is the birthday of free India. … It signifies the entry into the comity of nations of a new power with untold potentialities which has a great part to play in determining the political, social, cultural and spiritual future of humanity. …India was arising …. to live …for …. the world as a helper and leader of the whole human race.

When a majority of us live our lives, lead our livelihoods as workers, entrepreneurs running our enterprises of living, our liberty, freedom, independence come from our interdependence, and dependence on ourselves, our wisdom, our coexisters, our coexisting communities, groups, teams, our homes, our fields, soils, our waters, our seeds, et al. N7L, natural farming, offers us this interdependence, this freedom. Can we be free? Can we go N way, N consuming way, N local value-chain way, N farming way? Self-reliant, atma-nirbhar way. Freedom, with ecology, culture, nature supporting. Independence – physical, food, economic, psychological, and spiritual.

US-Russia, Trump-Putin Alaska Summit. Ended with ‘next time in Moscow’ soon.

If our gut feels good, our mood is steady, and our energy is just right, then we are doing right. Steady energy levels throughout the day? Regular bowel movements? Healthy weight? Stable mood, glowing skin, and healthy hair? Sleep? Complex carbs, proteins, nuts, fruits and vegetables, water, turmeric milk, seeds, mindful habits. Seasonal, colourful, varied, and joy-filled. Consistently.

Janmaasthami, Krsnaasthami, Gokulaasthami. Krsnam vande jagadgurum. Krsna. Black, dark, dark blue, all attractive, charming; charmer, enchanter. Soul protector, Govinda. Vaasudeva. Naaraayana, Maadhava, Kesava. Most scholars of Hinduism and Indian history accept the historicity of Krsna – that he was a real male person, whether human or divine, who lived on Indian soil. If we believe in Mahabharat Kuruskhetra event, Krsna was successful in almost ‘wiping’ out the kingly class and handing over the power to people and their friends. If Krsna were not God, the Viswarupa (cosmic form) in the Gita would represent the ultimate, all-encompassing reality, animate and inanimate, the source and end of all existence. Its interconnectedness. Revelation of the divine nature inherent in everything. It is experiencing the vision of the Universe. Innumerable forms. All within and without. Infinite, without a beginning or an end. This vision, visualization, can be seen by anyone if s/he is blessed.

Upholding truth, integrity, righteousness is a constant struggle. Krsna was at it, all through. Can we be Krsna? Can we be strategic, tailored to our, our team’s vision-reality-ladders-snakes situations? Can we step aside to guide, mentor from the sidelines? Leaving the spotlight. Can we do our work for benefit, usefulness, relevance to the world, without attachment to results for ‘us’? Can we appreciate the people we are with, we work with, we deal with, we do not deal with? And tailor our ways accordingly? Can we listen? Can we be concerned with the order and wellbeing of the world, of the marginalized in the world, as much as possible? Notwithstanding their affiliations, attachments. Can we clearly take sides, side of the vulnerable, side of the ‘right’, while being humble and grounded? Can we side with justice? Can we be Krsna? Can we try to be Krsna?

Yes, we can. If we coexist, flowing. End focussed iterative actions. In N? vyuhayoga for 7L.
