A massive door-to-door exercise in 2025 across states like Bihar, West Bengal, UP, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu etc., to update voter lists by adding eligible voters and removing ineligible ones. While it was completed in Bihar before Assembly elections, it is going on in other states. Updated lists are published for the public to get back. Net and net 10-20% voters number decreased. Hope no genuine voters go out of lists; no duplicate entries of voters. Let us wait for final updated lists in these 12 states. Let us also hope this would be done across all states soon.
