Silently mostly. Only 5% do read 50 books a year. Can we be in this 5%? Literacy is more than reading. It includes writing, speaking, listening and doing basic math. Communicating visually, verbally, digitally. Can we be literate, learn reading, writing, and doing math simultaneously? Can we persist with writing by hand? Can we read faster? Speed reading improves comprehension. Can we go towards 500+ words per minute? Can we make reading, writing, and doing math a daily habit?

Increased information availability situation. Yet, we need teachers. A teacher brings us understanding, ways of understanding, comprehending, thinking, and application. How do we get information in the knowledge form? How do we use this knowledge? How do we develop judgment, and reflection? How do we ask questions, right questions? How do we become open-ended, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary? Can the teachers evolve beyond lectures, question-answers, to discuss, explore, analyse, experience, practice, while achieving conceptual clarity on fundamentals? Can we take assessment to go beyond ‘recall’, tasks, assignments, individual-group work, solving problems, visualization, imagination et al? Using paper, pen, and brain.
