Social media. Social media-sharing networks, discussion forums. Digital platforms and apps. Virtual communities. 5 billion global users.

Doctors. Medical doctors, practitioners. Physicians, and Surgeons. General practitioners, specialists, super specialists. In primary, secondary, and tertiary medical care. Allopathic, Ayurvedic, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathic, hybrid. Carers of our physical, mental health and wellbeing. With 2 million registered doctors, we are having more doctors 1:800 in India, than WHO recommendation of 1:1000. However, skewed with lower density in rural areas.

Chartered Accountants. 2 million across. 500,000 are registered CAs in India. A third-of-them practice. Others work as public/private employees. Practicing CAs offer services – accounting, audit, assurance, taxation-filing, compliance, company secretarial, financial services et al.

Microbiome. Community of microorganisms living together. A characteristic microbial community occupying a reasonably well-defined habitat which has distinct physio-chemical properties. The microbiota consists of all living members forming the microbiome. All animals and plants form associations with microorganisms. The term ‘microbiome’ encompasses both microbiota and their “theatre of activity” (structural elements, metabolites/signal molecules, and the surrounding environmental conditions. Maybe microbiome(s) are farming ‘plants’ and nurturing ‘animals’. Not even a small % of these microorganisms are characterized so far. Long way to go.

Statistics. A branch in Mathematics. A part of STEM. Data, study of data – quantitative (discrete, continuous) and qualitative. Descriptive, inferential. Measures of Central Tendency – mean, median, mode; and Measures of variability/dispersion – range, variance, standard deviation, interquartile range. Can we appreciate and use data, present data in a meaningful way? Can we analyze and interpret simple data? Can we seek the required relevant minimal data to help us decide better?

Can we, all of us, each one of us, have the documents to prove that we exist, we are citizens, and we can live, transact, claim our rights and entitlements? Shouldn’t there be a human intervention or system that checks up and issues the first document so that we can get going? Without a hassle. Can a Gram Sabha do? Can a Collector do? Or a mechanism in each district/block/GP?

Can we have a balanced diet, lean proteins, nuts, fibre, whole grains-legumes, vegetables-fruits, complex carbohydrates? Can we quickly have breakfast, without delay? Can we eat more often, but in small quantities? Can we move frequently, 5-10 minutes at a time? Can we sleep well? Can we keep having water, to stay hydrated?

When the mind becomes completely silent, highly aware, and deeply sensitive, subtle changes occurring in the body and brain may be experienced with great intensity. This may be the fundamental intelligence of life itself, revealed when the mind becomes completely free of self-centred activity. Can we let this unfold? Can we practice silencing ourselves, our hearts, minds, and thoughts?

Can we meditate? Can we reflect? Can we be silent? Words, mind, intellect. Can we be thankful? Can we be kind? Can we be generous with time, energy, presence, resources?

Yes, we can. If we coexist, flowing. In silence, in fasting. In N? paramamaunayoga for 7L.
