Amit Shah launched the Dairy Sahakar scheme at Anand, Gujarat. The scheme will provide investment of Rs. 5000 crore to the Dairy sector. It will give financial support to eligible cooperatives for activities including bovine development, milk procurement, processing, quality assurance, value addition, branding, etc.

In view of panic buying of fertilizers among fears of shortage, the Union government has formed a team to facilitate priority movement of fertilizers to key States. 

Union Minister Khuba started the Skills Strengthening for Industrial Value Enhancement (STRIVE) in Mangaluru. Kanara Industries Association – Industrial Cluster will run it. It will provide training & apprenticeship in five fields to ITI and 10th pass outs.

The G20 Summit adopted the Rome Declaration. The member countries agreed on giving mutual recognition of vaccines and strengthening of WHO to expedite approvals to vaccines.

PM Modi is in Glasgow to attend the 26th Conference of Parties (COP-26) that is set to take place today and tomorrow. COP-26 will be working on climate financing, climate adaptation, keeping the Paris agreement goals on global warming within reach, etc.
