Due to nonpayment of scholarship, 2 lakh SC students dropped out of college in Punjab: National Commission for Scheduled Castes.

Karnataka Government extends eggs and bananas in Midday Meals Scheme to all districts, for students of classes 1-8 for 46 days.

Himachal Pradesh has given the green signal for the implementation of the Market Intervention Scheme (MIS) for the procurement of mango, kinnow, malta, orange and galgal.

Delhi Government launched the second Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) centre. It will provide short-term training on employable skills and soft skills to youth from slum clusters of Delhi.
