The Environment Ministry launches the Indian Forest and Wood Certification Scheme. It provides market incentives to state forest departments, FPOs, individual farmers and wood-based industries, among others, that follow sustainable forest management practices

The Uttarakhand Government has entered into an MoU with Erisha E Mobility Pvt Ltd, to work on an electric vehicle (EV) park in 320 acres in the state. 100 EV charging hubs set up across the state.

 

The Meghalaya Government is going to construct 1000 small multipurpose reservoirs, to check the rainwater retention problems faced by the state. Project to be funded by ADB.
