Livelihoods Update 31 July 2024

The Central Government has asked Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, to shift MGNREGS focus to Agriculture and Asset Creation.

 

Climate change will reduce rice yield by 20% by 2050 and further by 2080; reduction in wheat and maize yields as well: GoI Study.

 

The Central Water Commission won the GEEF Global WaterTech Award, under the ‘Water Department of the Year’ category.
