India’s workforce needs another 145 million women to reach the 30 trillion$ economy target by 2047: Study.

 

Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Animal Husbandry Minister, launched the Pandemic Fund Project on ‘Animal Health Security Strengthening in India for Pandemic Preparedness and Response’, on 25th Oct 2024, for 25 million$.

 

The majority of women who were forced into sex trafficking in Goa were from the source states of Maharashtra, WB, Delhi, Nepal, Bangladesh, Kenya and Uganda; increase in trafficking due to social media and online advertisements: Study.

 

India ranked 176 out of the 180 countries covered, with a score of 45.5 out of 100, due to inefficient land management and rising risks to biodiversity: 2024 Global Nature Conservation Index.
