Prime Minister Modi announced the repeal of the three controversial farm laws today. For around a year now, farmers across the nation have been protesting against the farm laws. 

Maharashtra government files a police case against Reliance General Insurance (RGICL) in Parbhani district. The state government alleges that RGICL is not paying crop insurance claim amounts to the district farmers under PMFBY even after receiving an order from the district collector.

West Bengal government to launch Self Help Groups (SHGs) for men called Producers Groups. This project aims to curb migration among rural men. The groups will run small businesses. The government will facilitate schemes through different departments under one umbrella to the groups.

IMD gave a flash flood warning to Tamil Nadu (TN), Andhra Pradesh (AP) & Puducherry due to Dam Water Release and heavy rainfall. The Central Water Commission has, on Thursday, advised dam operators to release water very carefully.

Uttar Pradesh (UP) government has stated that between FY 2017-18 to FY 2020-21, it has given scholarships to 20,16,076 minority community students.
