National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Generation India Foundation (GIF) have started Project AMBER. It will strive to eliminate the gap between skills and employment, and give 30,000 youth industry-relevant skills and jobs.
Union government plans to start 35 Multi Modal Logistics Parks worth Rs. 50,000 crores. The Parks will create seamless intermodal freight transport, aggregation, distribution, etc.
Telangana government completed 2 BHK houses worth Rs. 11000 crore for poor people in the state. This was out of the total Rs. 18000 crore worth of works planned. It is building 2.85 lakh double bedroom houses.
Sikkim Rural Livelihood Mission, is training 25 women Krishi Sakhis in basic organic farming. This will help them to disseminate knowledge about organic farming. to women farmers across the state in vermicompost making, organic manure and soil health management.
Aadhar system has saved Rs. 2.25 lakh of the exchequer, by removing ghost beneficiaries from the system, in Central Government schemes. At present, 300 Central and 400 State schemes are connected/linked to Aadhar: UIDAI CEO.
