Livelihoods Update: 30 December 2021

Centre has allocated Rs. 7.04 crore for funding 44 mobile veterinary units in Himachal Pradesh. The state government will spend Rs. 16 lakh to purchase and customize each unit. It will allow people to get their livestock diagnosed and treated near their homes.

Out of the 3,32,176 checkups of children conducted by the Pune Zilla Parishad Health Department, 4768 children need medical aid and 1660 children have Moderate to Severe Acute Malnutrition. It is under the Child Health Screening Program.

NITI Aayog to organise a national-level workshop on bamboo today. Many stakeholders from India and outside will participate in it. They will learn the opportunities in bamboo and find out and resolve issues in bamboo development and value chain.

Jharkhand Government has decided to give Rs. 25 per litre of petrol, in subsidy, to ration cardholders with 2 wheelers, upto max 10 litres per family every month.

PM Modi to issue 10th instalment of PMKSN on 1st January 2022, to 10 crore beneficiaries, and provide equity grant to 351 FPOs benefiting 1 lakh 24 thousand farmers.
