PM Modi will inaugurate the Gobar Dhan (Bio-CNG) Plant in Indore, Madhya Pradesh today. The Plant can treat 550 tons of segregated wet organic waste per day. It can produce around 17,000 kg of CNG and 100 tons of organic compost per day.
Rs. 235 crore project approved in Andhra Pradesh, to clear legacy waste in the State of more than 42 lakh Metric Tonnes.

SDC will train 2000 women in Hamirpur District, Himachal Pradesh, in various skills. The skills include mushroom cultivation, handloom, pickle and jam making, etc.
Centre has so far paid Rs. 1.07 lakh crore of claims under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana since its inception. Around 36 crore farmers got insured under the scheme so far.
