155 Indian Meteorology Stations have reported maximum temperatures of above 40°C.

 

Activists have called out FSSAI for raising the max limit of residue of pesticides in Indian herbs from 0.01 mg/kg to 0.1 mg/kg i.e. 10 times.

 

There was a 214% increase in vacancies in FY 23-24 from 34,81,944 in FY 22-23 to 109,24,161 in FY 23-24: National Career Service Portal data.

 

The Indian ocean is going to get surface warming of 1.4°C – 3°C between 2020 and 2100, which will push it to a near-permanent heatwave state: Institute of Tropical Meteorology Study.
