There was an increase in Caesarean deliveries in India between 2016-2021: IIT Madras Study.

The World Bank has raised its predictions for the Indian economy’s growth for 2024 from 6.3% to 7.5%.

The Central Government has asked global and domestic trade houses, to avoid buying new season wheat from local farmers, to fill up its depleting reserves of wheat.

There has been a decline in the amount of early monsoon and increase in late monsoon rain, which has affected farming and raised flooding: Study.

The Governments of India, Ecuador, Kenya, Laos, Philippines, Uruguay and Vietnam are working together in a 379 million$ initiative to limit pollution in agriculture.
