Lok Sabha passed the Election Laws (Amendment) Bill 2021 yesterday. It provides for the linking of electoral rolls with Aadhaar numbers to cut down on duplication of votes.
Under PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), 48,000 persons with disabilities (PwDs) have received short-term training, and 9,105 candidates have received long-term training in 2019 and 3,681 in 2020.
